Diwali Rocket Card

With Diwali round the corner, here comes a card in the shape of a rocket depicting the colors of Diwali.

This card has been made out of old wedding invitations, reusing them to categorize under ‘Best-out-of-waste’ concept. The base of the card, as well as the borders used on the nose of the rocket are from wedding invitations.
The main body of the rocket is created using the Iris folding technique, using glittery green and gold sheets, along with the blue border.
The stem of the rocket is made using newspaper weaving technique, newspaper covered with a white sheet. The red stripes are created using a Red quilling strip.
The nose of the rocket features a wheel cracker punch craft, along with a hand written sentiment wishing Diwali. A woolen thread along with punched flower is used to depict the wick and lit spark.
