Card in a Box - Birthday Love

Hello,

Here is a 'Card in a Box' made on order for my friend, for her husband's birthday :) The theme is Birthday and Love.

I've used Papericious Happy Birthday pattened papers on black base for the box and inner layers. The balloons are stamped and colored using distress inks and Faber castell watercolor pencils. They are fussy cut and attached using double round of acetate sheets. The hearts are diecut using Nelli's Choice Multiframe Heart dies, from Papericious Pretty Basics patterned papers.

To embellish, I've used a few 3D stickers on Birthday theme, along with scallop diecuts from Gina Marie Scallop Stitched Circles and Rectangles dies. The front also has a shaker heart filled with multicolor sequins.

Watch this video to know how to make a shaker card by Kelly! It is part of the series 'What Would Kelly Make' by Simon Says Stamp.

Here is a small video too :)
