Christmas Card

Hello,

With Christmas around the corner, I've a card that I made for my friend. Shhh! It's right now under her tree as a gift, to be opened on Christmas :)

For the background, I've used Altenew Layered Medallion stencils A and B with distress inks - Candied Apple and Mowed Lawn. The overlap blended into a brown shade. I liked this stencil set a lot and tried different sets of color combinations. I'll share more of those cards in the coming days :)

The sentiment is stamped onto a red inked cardstock using Versafine Onyx black ink. It is then matted onto a black cardstock. For some extra layer look, I've added a fine white line using Uniball Signo white gel pen. This panel is then mounted onto a diecut from Dress My Craft gold mirror cardstock. I really love the gold against the red, green and white! :)

The base is a red cardstock along with a white line using the gel pen, to look like a layer. I finished the card with a few tiny gold star sequins for each of the flowers in the corners of the stenciled panel, and below the sentiment :)
