Bee Happy Card

Hello,

I'm back with another homework entry for Online Card Classes - Spring Card Camp 2. Today I've combined the days 10 and 15 - Letter substitution and Shakers.

I wanted to create a bee card since long, and I got the Honey Bees stampset from Studio Katia just in time! So I stamped one of the bees onto watercolor cardstock, colored using Arteza real brush pens and die-cut using the coordinating die. I then planned to use it as a substitute for the letter E in the sentiment 'Bee Happy'. I die-cut the letters B and E using MFT LLD Stitched Alphabets die set, thrice each from yellow cardstock. I love the stacked look of the sentiment. The word 'happy' is also die-cut thrice from yellow cardstock and stacked. It is from the Paper Smooches Happy Birthday 2 die set.

Once I had the sentiment planned and ready, I moved on to create the shaker. I've used a hexagon die from Gina Marie Designs Stitched Hexagons die set. I created the shaker by having multiple frames of hexagons and foam tape. I filled the shaker using golden and white sequins. The background for the shaker is a stenciled panel, created using Honeycomb stencil from Craftyscrappers.

I adhered the sentiment and bee image to the bottom of the shaker and completed the card with a few yellow sequins, and a coat of Wink of Stella over the sentiment and bee.
