Thank You Card - Abstract Background

Hello,

I'm here with another homework for Online Card Classes, Spring Card Camp 2 - Day 18. The topic is abstract backgrounds, with beautiful inspirations from Yana Smakula and Seeka. I loved these quick and beautiful backgrounds!

I started by die-cutting a scallop stitched rectangle frame from white cardstock using Gina Marie Designs - Scallop Stitched Rectangles die set. I then masked the scalloped frame part using some masking tape, and applied a pink ombre ink pad directly over the cardstock. I went over it with a light hand until I was satisfied with the result. Loved this technique, with awesome texture effect!

I then removed the masking tapes from the frames, stamped the beautiful image from Altenew's Canopy Leaves stamp set using Versamark ink. I heat embossed it using white embossing powder, and went thrice for more layered effect. I then stamped and heat embossed the Thank You sentiment from the same set, using Obsidian black ink and clear embossing powder. I completed the card using some lovely pink sequins! Super simple and quick :)

Thank you for stopping by, hope you like my card! Do let me know your feedback! Have a nice day :)
