Rainbow - Friends Forever

Hello,

Here is a card I made for the August challenge at RCS - Rainbow + Friendship.



I started by blending distress inks on to a Beilo cardstock, trimmed to standard size. Once I was satisified with the rainbow effect, I misted the Nestled Circles stencil from Artplorations(Stamplorations) with water and stamped onto the panel. The distress inks react with water on the stencil and give that beautiful effect. I've then diecut the panel for a border using Gina Marie scallop frame dies, and mounted on to a black top folding card base.

The sentiment is stamped using Versamark ink and heat embossed in white. It is diecut using a framed oval die and adhered to the card. "Friends" is from a local stampset, while "Forever" is from Mudra - Love stampset.
