See-Through Card

Hello,

Today I have a card, that I tried for the first time - kind of a see-through card.


The front of the card is a diecut from Altenew Dodec cover die, out of baby pink colored paper and it is attached to a sheet of acetate. I cut the acetate a little longer than the required size, so that it can be scored and folded, to form the hinge for the card.

The base is a purple metallic cardstock, and it is attached to the acetate front. For the mandala design, I used a die from Itsy Bitsy and embossed onto pink cardstock. I diecut 2 more pieces to cover the inner side on the acetate so that the foam tape doesn't show up. The other diecut is used in the inner panel to add any wish/message.

The sentiment is from Altenew Build A Flower - Rose set, which is heat embossed in baby pink embossing powder on purple metallic cardstock.
