MFT 2022 Card Design Superstar Contest - Box Card Master Entry

A flower basket card made from a box card die! This is my entry to the MFT 2022 Card Design Superstar contest, under the Box Card Master category 😊

Steps to create:

🌸 I've die-cut 2 sets of the box die from white cardstock and placed them opposite with the front sides facing each other. Glue them together to form the basket.

🌸 Cover the outer sides using Burlap cardstock

🌸 Diecut a lot of flowers and ink blend using distress inks and oxides. Make sure 2 of each flower are in the same color.

🌸 Use green cardstock for the stem, double it up to make it sturdy

🌸 Sandwich the stem between 2 flowers and glue them together, so that the flower looks colorful from either side ☺️

🌸 Attach the flowers to the layers inside the basket

🌸 Decorate the outer side of the basket using lace and pearls

🌸 I've also used a bead chain to form the handles of the basket

🌼 Distress inks and oxides

🌼 Burlap cardstock
