Mandala + Wedding wishes

Heylo!

With the wedding season starting, I had to make a couple of cards. And more fun when you can combine them with the contests and play :)

So this is a card, that is completely recycled from 2 different wedding invitations!

You can see the amount of scrap (oops, they are useful!) I have!

Keeping in mind all the contests that I wanted to take part in, here is my card.

The base of the card is a violet shimmer wedding card turned inside out, along with another golden shimmer wedding card turned over. I've used a border punch for the top border.

On to the highlight of the card, the Mandala! After a lot of trials on getting a good mandala design, I decided to use punch outs and form my own design :) Note, all punch outs again from the scraps. I've used red rhinestones to add some bling.

The 3 roses are made from pink satin ribbon, sentiment hand-written and heat embossed.

A close look at the mandala

Handmade cover and the inside of the card

I've used a butterfly stamp with mustard seed distress ink as background. Special day sentiment is stamped using fired brick distress ink and congrats sentiment with seedless preserves distress ink.

Linking the card to the below contests.

1. ICR - Tic Tac Toe challenge with a Mandala twist

Mandala along with column 2 - Ribbon (satin ribbon flowers), Love sentiment, Heat embossing
Additional items from the tic tac toe board - Bling and Flower

2. Peek-a-boo Challenge 3 - Tic Tac Toe
Except for the 'striped element', I've used all the elements from the tic tac toe board, please choose any row/column/diagonal :)

3. Lulupu Challenge 58 - Hearts and Arrows
There are a lot of hearts in different colors - golden, violet, green, and red. Difficult to ignore a RED heart, that is just so real! Ignored a pink one though. Arrows to complement the sentiment.

4. PCM Challenges - February challenge
Pics of scraps added. Except for the rhinestones, all the elements including the base of the card are made from scraps.

Please do let me know your feedback :)
