Birthday Critters CAS Card

Hello,

Happy New Year to all of you :) I'm starting the new year with a piece of good news! I'm now on the design team for A Place to Start Challenge Blog. Yay! :)

This is my first post as a DT member, and the challenge theme for Jan is CAS. It is sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps, and I've used their Birthday Critters Sign digi stamp. This party animals image is perfect for making kids cards!


The design is kept very simple, I just printed the image on the required size cardstock and colored using Arteza real brush pens. I added some very soft ink blending for the grass and sky in green and blue inks respectively. To add more interest to the image, I coated the balloon letters with glossy accents! A few iridescent sparkling gems and a couple of blue sequins are added to complete the card. The panel is then mounted to a blue cardstock trimmed to A2 size and adhered to a top folding white notecard.
