Happy Birthday - Flower Shaker Card
Hello!
This month I'm bit by the shaker bug :) This is my third shaker card now :)
Sneak peek?
I've always wanted to use the Mudra Botanical Blooms stampset and finally got to make a card just for it :)
I started by stamping the flowers, layer by layer, using the Altenew Red Cosmos inks. Mudra has provided a stamping guide to follow, so that you get the perfect flower. But don't worry even if you get misaligned, the flowers do come out very well and look so natural in those tones! I then stamped the leaves using Mowed Lawn DI and Black Soot DI, since I don't have shades of green :) Love the final look of those flowers :) Colored the inside of the smaller flowers using yellow sketch pen.
Once the flowers are ready, I moved on to the base of the card. I took a yellow CS for the base, and used patterned papers to create a frame look. Added the sequins in between, and finished the shaker using acetate sheet and foam tape. I then layered the flowers and leaves using foam tape. The sentiment is stamped using mini alphabet stamp set onto a golden glitter wedding invitation scrap piece. Attached it too with foam tape, and the card is ready :)
Thanks for reading all the stuff! Do you want to see the final pics now? Here you go! :)
