Happy Birthday - Double Sided Step Card

Hello,

Today's card is a fancy fold creation - a double sided step card, inspired by a tutorial I found at Pinterest. Check it out here if you are interested.


I love making interactive and fancy fold cards! And I made this one for my sister's birthday.


I created my own patterned paper look by stamping the flowers and leaves from Altenew's Ditsy Daisy mini stamp set. This stampset came as a gift for one of my orders and I love the tiny stamps. I've used Altenew's Fresh Lemon and Parrot green inks for stamping.


The butterflies are from Sizzix Thinlits Winged Beauties, diecut from yellow cardstock, and the leaves are from Spellbinders In'spire Bamboo Party, they are diecut from parrot green cardstock.


I've added a lot of layers and mats in the same colors for interest. You can also see how the butterflies pop out with acetate.


The sentiment is stamped from Mudra's Lets Party stampset. I finished the card by adding a few pearl embellishments.
