Scalloped Circle Easel Card

Hello,

Today's card is a fancy fold one - Easel card in the shape of scalloped circle.
I made this for a colleague's farewell, but with the theme of best wishes for her new journey in life!


I started by diecutting the base and easel panels using Gina Marie Designs - Scalloped Stitched Circle dies from thick white cardstock. To add some interest, the inner circle panels are diecut from Itsy Bitsy's textured stripes white cardstock, using Gina Marie Stitched Circle dies.



The flowers are from the Hibiscus Garden 3D die set from Altenew. These are the smallest ones in the set and not the main hibiscus flowers. The yellow flowers are colored using Altenew's Pocketful of Sunshine ink set. For the red flowers, I didn't have the layering shades so I've used Candied Apple distress ink, Fired Brick distress ink and Grapevine ink from Altenew. I then inked a white cardstock with Altenew's Moss ink and diecut multiple leaves from it. I randomly arranged the flowers and leaves and adhered to the easel panel using strong liquid glue.


The sentiment is from Altenew's Dainty Swiss Dots stampset, which is stamped using Versamark ink on black cardstock and heat embossed in white. I fussy cut it in the shape of fishtail banner and adhered to the easel panel using foam tape for added dimension.



Coming to the easel stopper, I've used a rectangle diecut from Gina Marie Stitched Scalloped Rectangles dies, which is adhered using foam tape. The sentiment is from Mama Elephant's Dragon Wishes stampset, stamped in black using Versafine Onyx Black ink. I completed the card by adding a few enamel dots from Whimsy Stamps, and white pearls for the inside of the flowers.
