Masculine Love Card

Hello,

Welcome to my 2nd post as DT for A Place to Create Challenges. The theme for Feb is Masculine and here is my take on it! Do join in the fun and link up your creations here.



For this card, I started by stamping the plane image on light kraft cardstock using Altenew's Obsidian black ink. I'm super happy with the dark and crisp black! This is my new addition to the ink stash and I totally love it. The stamp is also new in my stash, but I picked it up at a yard sale, well used. So not sure of the brand details!


I then die-cut a lot of little hearts from red cardstock. I've used the Heart Breeze die from Simon Says Stamp and used only the negatives. I adhered the hearts in a way they are being showered from the plane. I also added a few coats of Wink of Stella clear glitter to add all the shimmer to the hearts.


I stamped the sentiment from Mudra's Love stamp set, using Candied Apple distress ink onto the same kraft cardstock and matted with a red striped pattern paper. The plane and hearts panel is then mounted onto the patterned paper using foam tape and then onto kraft cardstock again. I completed the card by adhering the finished card onto a top folding white notecard.
