Colorful Christmas Trees

Hello,

I'm back with another set of cards I made for Christmas! I still have a lot to make for friends!

For the background, I've used the Arctic ink from Craftyscrappers and blended it on white cardstock. I love ink blending :) I then misted with water to get the cool snow effect! The ink is water-reactive and great for this technique. I then stamped a few snowflakes randomly using Hero Arts Unicorn white ink. The snowflake stamp is from the Simon Says Stamp Color Me Trees stampset. For the bottom snow look, I used a wavy die from Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders die set, and cut on white cardstock. The base is attached to a top folding white note card.

The trees are from the same stampset, heat embossed in black and colored in rainbow colors using Arteza real brush pens. This is my first coloring using these markers and I loved them :) I then fussy cut the trees and adhered to the base panel using foam tape. I also die cut 2 stars from gold mirror cardstock using MFT Tree Window die set. 

I completed the card by stamping the sentiment which matches the rainbow colors perfectly! It is heat embossed in black. I also added a few iridescent sequins for more interest and to add shimmer.

And did I tell you that I made 2 of the same? I liked the first outcome a lot that I made one more! Maybe I could have planned ahead and done both parallelly but you never know :)
