Happy Holi
Hello All,
Here comes a series of posts on my latest cards.
The first one is a simple card for Holi, which would do justice only by having a lot of colors!
I've used a technique that I learnt during my school days, blow painting :)
Choose your favorite distress inks, mist water and dribble a bit on to the paper. Blow the paint using a straw or the outer cover of a refill pen, to different directions. Go on until you get the desired results, believe me its too simple to do but you get a colorful outcome!
I've trimmed the card to the required size and attached to a red cs, which in turn is attached to the main white base cs using foam tape.
I cut out a circle using rotary cutter and stamped multi color stars onto it. Next I stamped the sentiment and tag outline on a white cs, added it to red cs.
I've run a silver ribbon around and attached the sentiment to the main card using foam tape.
Linking the card to the below contests.
1. HobbyMela - Holi contest
2. Ranganjali - March contest - Watercolors
3. FabNFunky Challenges - Challenge 295
