Masking + Colorful birthday card and tag
Hello,
Time for the second card now.
Whenever I make a card, I look at the flower stamp, thinking where to use it, but somehow it gets missed out. This time, I wanted to create a simple card with just the flower stamp. Want to have a look?
So I took a scrap piece of wedding invite, cut out a circle, adhered to white cs using some washitape. I started with stamping the flower using distress inks, masking the circle.
I went over the card with different colors and overlapped stamping to make it more colorful. I had to move the washitapes in between to cover the area underneath it and to give a defined edge to the circle.
Once I was satisfied with the stamping, I removed the circle and there was my perfect white space circle amidst the colorful flowers!
I stamped the sentiment and a few stars onto the space, trimmed the card and attached it to a blue base using foam tape.
With the remaining stamped flowers, I made a matching tag too :)
Here they are again :)
