Home Decor - DIY Flower Vase From Wipes Canister

Hello,

With very little time for crafting these days, I'm here to share a quick altered art! I made a flower vase from an empty disinfecting wipes canister. Look at the transformation first!

It is super simple to make! I first peeled off the label from the empty canister and covered the top portion with Altenew's Painted Fantasy washi tape. It is wide enough to cover half the canister, and I love this size for home decor projects! For the bottom half, I used a pink cardstock and layered a lovely metallic gold foiled ribbon over it. I then used a thin maroon satin ribbon to give a border to the cardstock on the top and bottom. I also added another pink ribbon to the top rim of the canister. I finished the makeover by adhering a stamped rose and leaves, from Altenew's Build-A-Rose stamp and die set. That's it, the flower vase is ready to adorn your home!

Now have a look at some more pics!
