Farewell - Best Wishes Card

Hello,

Today I have a farewell card to share with you all. Guess I made quite a few in the last couple of months!




I don't really like to add farewell sentiments, so it is mostly best wishes.

For this card, I've used Altenew's Needlework Motif stampset. I stamped the floral image using Versamark ink and heat embossed in gold. I've then colored the image using the inks - Altenew Olive, Altenew Moss, Altenew Ruby Red and Spiced Marmalade distress ink. I've then added splatters using black ink for some interest.



I wanted to have a pink cardstock mat for the panel, but I don't have one. So I trimmed white cardstock to the required size, and applied Altenew Ruby Red ink using the direct-to-paper technique, on the borders. Once I attached my panel to it, it looks like pink cardstock :)




I then attached the card layers onto a top folding white notecard as base. The sentiment is from Altenew's Dainty Swiss Dots stampset, which is stamped and heat embossed in white, on black cardstock. I also wanted to add some shine and dimension, so gave a layer of glossy accents to the inner layers of the flowers. To finish the card, I added some matching pink sequins. I love the overall look of this card, the shimmer in gold embossing and the shining glossy accents! :)
