Bright Rainbow Birthday Card

Hello,

I'm here with another rainbow card! Recently, I've been making more of rainbow colors, and I loved creating this one bold one too!


I started by creating the background first. I chose distress inks in rainbow colors - Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Salty Ocean and Wilted Violet. I've blended them using Taylored Expressions blending brushes.


I then die-cut 2 circles from Pinkfresh Studio - Essentials Inverted Stitched Scallop Circle die. I arranged them at 2 opposite corners for the design, adhered them using strong glue and then ran the panel through Pinkfresh Studio - Essentials Diagonal Stitched Rectangles die. It gave me a beautiful framed effect!


For the flowers, I've used the Pinkfresh Studio - Floral Frame with a Swan die set, and cut out the flowers from the design. I arranged them within the inverted circle panels and adhered using glue only in the center of the flower. That gave some dimension to the petals. I used sequins and jewels from Studio Katia for the center of the flowers. 


I've used a sentiment from Dare 2B Artzy's Sunshine & Rainbows stamp set, heat embossed it in white on black cardstock. I completed the card by mounting this panel over a white top-folding A2 notecard.
