50th Birthday Card

Hello,

I'm back again with a quick card made for a 50th birthday.

The patterned paper with 'happy birthday' repeated text is from Papericious Birthday pack. The black and white stripes paper is from MFT, and I've used it as a border, along with a thin strip of black cardstock. For the focus on the number 50, I've die cut the numbers from MFT's Stitched Numbers die set 4 times - 3 in white and 1 in black. I layered them together for added dimension, and also covered the sides of the white cardstock in black using a sharpie pen. I could have layered with black die-cuts, but I didn't think of it at that time. I added the numbers to a circle die cut using Gina Marie Stitched Circles dies, and adhered to another die-cut, this time it is a Gina Marie Scalloped Stitched Circles die-cut in black. To complete the card, I've added 2 generous coatings of glossy accents for a glossy shine finish!
