Happy Birthday Friend

Hello,

Today I have a birthday card that can be gifted to a friend.


I started by smooshing distress inks in rainbow color onto watercolor cardstock. I then trimmed it using a rectangle scallop stitched die from Gina Marie, only on one side, so it looks like a border. For the bottom of the panel, I've used a patterned paper from Pink Fresh Studio. I then die cut a red heart from Nellie's Choice Multi Frame dies from red cardstock. The bear image is from MFT Beary Special Birthday stamp set. It is stamped on to watercolor cardstock using Versafine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed using clear embossing powder. I then colored using Faber Castell watercolor pencils and a water brush, and die-cut using a coordinating die. 

The sentiment from the same stamp set is stamped on black cardstock and white heat embossed. I trimmed it down like a banner and adhered everything together using foam tape. To add a little more interest and sparkle, I added a few sequins.
