Balloons & Flowers Popup Birthday Card

Hello,

Today I'm here with a card I made for a special friend's birthday. I went with her favorite colors - yellow and blue.

I started by creating the main panel. I've used the Birthday Balloons Duo stencil from Studio Katia, and blended 2 distress inks through the stencil - Salty Ocean and Mustard Seed. I've used the blending brushes from Taylored Expressions and went with a soft hand on the left and top of the balloons and a heavier blend on the bottom and right sides. I love how easy it is to blend and the result is so beautiful!

The sentiment is from Craftyscrappers' Birthday Goofers stampset, which is stamped using Altenew Obsidian black ink and clear heat embossed. Then I die-cut the panel using Pinkfresh Studio's Essentials - Diagonal Stitched Rectangle dies to get the beautiful frame. I added a few blue sequins over the balloons and adhered the stenciled panel to a side folding blue A2 notecard.

Moving on to the inside of the card, I wanted my friend to have a surprise, so chose the 7-flower popup design. It is a common popup design found in many Youtube videos, and I love making it! I've used yellow colored paper to make the flowers and adhered them to the inside of the card. The space around the flowers can be used to write the personal message.

Check out the video to see the card in real!

Thank you for stopping by, hope you like my card! Do let me know your feedback! Have a nice day :)
