Christmas Tree Cards

Hello,

With Christmas not far away, I have a couple of cards, simple and quick to make.

I started by die-cutting the Christmas tree window from MFT from white cardstock. I then die-cut a rectangle around it using Gina Marie Scalloped Stitched Rectangles die. To give the trees a green color, I took a piece of green cardstock, adhered double-sided tape and added some green glitter over it. I rubbed the glitter firmly on to the tape using bone folder and tapped away the excess. This glitter cardstock is stuck behind the tree window using foam tape. I love the tree's added dimension and the shadows when foam tape is added.

I also die-cut a star from the same die set using gold mirror cardstock. For the mat, I used 2 different cardstocks for each card - one is a red cardstock with a self floral design, and the other is a plain dark red cardstock.  The panels are then attached to white top folding notecards. To complete, I've stamped the sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black ink :)

Thank you for stopping by, hope you like my cards! Do let me know your feedback! Have a nice day :)
