Bunny Wishes for Spring

Hello,

I'm here with a cheerful interactive spring card today! This is my DT creation for A Place to Create Challenges. The theme for Apr is Spring/Easter with a Ribbon/Bow. Do check out the challenge and participate!

I love making interactive cards, and Lawn Fawn has the best interactive dies to make the process easy! I had my eyes on the magic picture changer since the launch and finally bought it :)

So I started by making the picture changer panels by creating the bunny scenes first. The adorable bunnies are from Mudra's Playful Bunnies stampset. I stamped them on watercolor paper using Versafine Onyx Black ink and colored using Faber Castell watercolor pencils. Once the scenes were ready, I ran them through the diecutting machine using the Lawn Fawn Magic Picture Changer die. I love how awesome they fit together and the interactive mechanism is done! 

To cover the picture changer, I've used a couple of patterned papers from Lawn Fawn's Perfectly Plaid Rainbow pack. For the main panel, I've used a floral pink patterned paper from my stash and ran another floral pink ribbon across it. I then made a handmade bow and adhered them using tape. I matted it with a baby pink textured cardstock. I added the interactive panel to this base using foam tape for added dimension. It is then adhered to a top folding white A2 notecard to complete :)

I was also inspired by the bunny and the spring feel in the kitchen canister I had recently got as a gift, whose lid is what I use for taking the card photos :)
