Ornate Thank You Card - 1

Hello,

I have a set of 3 cards coming up now, made for doctors. It is the best time to thank a lot of people during these difficult times! I made these 3 for doctors I knew. Sharing the first one today, with a cheerful color theme for spring.


I started by stamping the Ornate Background stamp from Simon Says Stamp using Versamark ink onto white cardstock and heat embossed in white. Then, I've blended multiple colors of distress inks over the heat embossing. This is the emboss resist technique and one of my fav techniques :) I've used only 3 inks here - Picked Raspberry, Salty Ocean and Mustard Seed, and the beautiful blending of colors create the green and purple shades too. I love the colorful blending!


For the 'thanks' sentiment, I've used the Simon Says Stamp 'Big Thanks' die. The shadow is diecut from pink cardstock and the word is diecut from white cardstock. I've blended the same set of 3 inks to the sentiment too for matching effect. I then adhered them together, stacked 2 more shadow diecuts for added dimension, and applied glossy accents over the thanks sentiment. Totally loved the beautiful 3D effect with glossy shine here!


The other sentiment 'I appreciate everything you do' is from Altenew's Needlework Motif stamp set. I've stamped it using Obsidian black ink and clear heat embossed it, on pink cardstock.  I've also added some glossy enamel dots from Whimsy Stamps, they matched perfectly! I added the panel to a landscape A2 card with the same pink texture cardstock as base panel. That completes the card :)
