Thank you cards

Hello,

Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy! Today I have a set of thank you cards made for a doctor and nurse. My daughter had her annual health checkup scheduled and it was the perfect time to hand over the cards to them! We didn't plan on time, so were behind in making cards.

Bhuvi and I chose a simple design that can be replicated quickly, and with the theme of spring flowers. We made 2 cards, to spread some cheer!


We started by die-cutting a bunch of flowers using MFT LLD Stitched Flowers die set. It is a great set to get multiple flowers in one pass. While Bhuvi was blending the flowers using Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry and Mowed Lawn distress inks, I prepared the window frame by using the frame die from The Cat's Pajamas' Balloon Frame set. For the window background, I blended Peacock Feathers distress ink and misted with water. I also added a light splatter with black ink.


Once the flowers were colored and ready, I added some gitter using Wink of Stella pen and then some dimension to the center using glossy accents. We then arranged the flowers around the window frame and adhered to the base. The sentiment is from Altenew's Needlework Motif stamp set and it is stamped using Obsidian black ink. 


We added our handwritten message inside and the cards were completed :)


And ya, the doctor and nurse loved the card and Bhuvi was proud to tell them that she blended the ink for the flowers :)
