Ornate Thank You Card - 2

Hello,

Today I'm back to share the second thank you card made using the same ornate background stamp, for another doctor!


This time, I've white heat embossed the Simon Says Stamp Ornate background stamp onto white cardstock and then die cut the thanks sentiment out from it. I've used the thanks die from Altenew's Scripty Words 2 set. Keeping the sentiment aside, I used Lindy's Gang Magical Shaker for a random wash on the main panel. I've used the colors Guten Tag Teal and Alpine Ice Rose, but mainly the teal one. I heat set the colors in between, so the white heat embossing has been muted. 


Once the background was completed, I die cut a few more thanks sentiments from white cardstock, adhered behind the main thanks diecut for dimension and placed them back into the background panel. This is an inlaid technique along with spotlight technique. The white heat embossed ornate background gives a continuous flow over the thanks sentiment and I love it :)


The appreciate sentiment is from Altenew's Needlework Motif stamp set, stamped using Peacock Feathers distress ink. I completed the card by adding a few teal enamel dots and small sequins, and adhered the panel to a top folding landscape A2 white note card.
