An Inch August - Day 9
Hello,
Here is my 9th creation for the AnInchAugust challenge at Instagram. It is a month long challenge for August where you get to show your creativity 'in an inch'. Check out the details here and do participate :)
For Day 9, I've created a flip and fold album using a scalloped square shape. You can check my previous creation using a hexagon here.
I started by diecutting the base shape from cereal box, to make the album sturdy. I've used the smallest square die from Gina Marie Scalloped Stitched Square die set. Then I've also diecut the same shape from pink and blue patterned papers, and attached to the base on both the sides. Before adhering the pink side, I inserted a thin pink ribbon to form the hinge for the album.
To create the belly band to hold the album, I've used the same blue patterned paper, and also a matching layered hearts in blue and pink. I gave a border using markers to highlight the hearts.
