Birthday Wishes - Inlaid Diecutting

Hello,

I'm here with a card I made for MFT Camp Create.


I've used the Simon Says Stamp - Modern Flowers Card Wrap die here. I diecut it 8 times, 2 of each of the 4 colors - Gold, Metallic Blue, Indigo and Green. I've then kept the gold outline and filled inside with the other color diecut pieces. It was fun doing this inlaid technique, though it took a lot of time! :)


For the sentiment, I've used a scrap of metallic blue cardstock, trimmed to the required size and stamped and heat embossed the 'Birthday Wishes' in gold. This stamp is from Altenew Mega Greetings 2 stampset. The heat embossing is done twice to add more dimension.


I love the gorgeous shimmer of gold! :) It is the gold mirror cardstock from Dress My Craft and I love it! :)

    Love this card, the color combo is awesome. This die is perfect for inlay die-cutting. Looks like you had fun doing it.
