An Inch August - Day 15
Hello,
Here is my 15th creation for the AnInchAugust challenge at Instagram. It is a month long challenge for August where you get to show your creativity 'in an inch'. Check out the details here and do participate :)
Happy Independence Day to all friends from India and Pakistan! :) In order to celebrate this day and honor the Indian flag, I've made a tricolor heart popup card.
The base card is a top folding gold mirror cardstock. It is from Dress My Craft and I love the shine. The outside is decorated using a heart die cut from Crafters Companion in white cardstock. I've colored it in orange, green and added the center wheel in navy blue, symbolizing the Indian tricolor flag. The wheel was too small to add 24 spokes, so I left them at 12, sorry about that!
For the inside, I made 3 heart flaps of 1inch size using orange, white and green cardstocks. I then made a 1/2inch heart flap in navy blue and adhered it inside the white layer. The 3 layers are then adhered to the inside of the base note card.
